Windows Alive provided opportunities for artists to bring life and vibrancy to our downtown area between 2023-2025. Funded through a $5,000 AIPP Community Art Grant, the Loveland Creative District hired artists to paint empty storefront windows throughout the District.

Here are colorful butterflies hovering around thistles in a happy spring/summer scene. A hummingbird is also enjoying nectar, and more flowers add life to the windows.
These bring a nice impact on people walking, driving, or bike riding through town.

My inspiration for these windows was a happy "get outside" and enjoy what Colorado has to offer. Notice that everyone is smiling even the car, fish and sun. It's meant to be a happy colorful idea. My name is Gary Locklier and have been an artist all my life and painted windows for the last 15 years.
